Piazza della Signoria and Loggia de’ Lanzi:

This is a lovely open piazza where tourists can see some of the most astonishing statues. The Fountain of Neptune is also located here.  The Loggia de Lanzi is a brilliant sculpture gallery, where you find some of the best sculptures of the city, which includes the statue of Perseus. The Galleria degli Uffizi:

San Lorenzo Market:

This is the oldest and also the largest market of Florence. Some of the best and freshest products are available here. Spend at least an hour in this market to soak into the Florentile feel.

Duomo Climb:

The huge dome in The Cathedral of Saint Mary is quite famous. Visitors need to climb all the 463 steps to get into the massive dome.  There are some tight spaces in the inner chambers from where one gets a brilliant view of city. There is also a bell tower located close by, which offers a majestic view of the city as well.

Those who choose to visit Florence at the time of the celebrations – June 24th, have the unique opportunity to witness the local festivities. There are fireworks display, boat races are held, there are football matches, bonfire and night marathon.
